Thank you for considering our request for a donation or sponsorship of the Chesapeake Chapter’s night out event at the National Aquarium in Baltimore the evening of June 14, 2010. The Night Out will be a fun filled educational experience for our members and guests with exclusive access to the Aquarium live presentations, 4D theater shows, and wonderful temptations for one’s pallet. Our menu and other event details will be posted shortly on our website.
Enclosed is information about sponsorship levels and support for the upcoming Night Out Event to be held in conjunction with the American Society of Safety Engineers Annual Professional Development Conference (PDC) to be held at the Baltimore Convention Center from June 14th-16th, 2010. The PDC typically has an attendance of 4000 plus safety and health professionals, including international attendees and a three-day vendor exhibition that had over 400 vendors in 2009.
This Aquarium Night Out event is one of the fund raising efforts that the Chesapeake Chapter uses to fund our scholarship, youth educational development and promotion of the career opportunities in the Safety & Health Profession. We are a Not-For-Profit organization and our outreach efforts are fully supported by our many volunteers and generous donors.
Since 2003 the Chapter has provided over $30,000 in local and national scholarships and other youth educational opportunities. This past year alone we have contributed over $7500 in scholarships and $1800 for tractor safety education programs for the 4-H Organization of Maryland.
Our hope is that your firm can help us continue to support these worthwhile projects. Your generous pledge would be most appreciated.
